Busy December for Apple
iOS 16.2 with Apple Music Sing, Video Downloader, and MagSafe Accessories

Welcome to the new and improved Bearded Teacher newsletter! I've actually switched away from my previous platform, Revue, to Beehiiv! With the switch I would love to make sure you all are receiving this, so shoot me a quick reply and let me know you're here!
Busy December for Apple
Typically this month is quiet for Apple when it comes to product releases, but we've had numerous features launch and still to come! iOS 16.2 will most likely hit next week and includes the whiteboard-style Freeform app, Apple Music Sing, and Advanced Data Protection options for iCloud. We discuss all these on the latest AppleInsider podcast, and I'll be covering them on the YouTube channel as well.
New Videos!
In addition to many Reels that have gone up, including tips for language translation on iPhone, recording video without pausing music, and stopping family member alarms, several long form tips have posted too.
iCloud Photo Library was a stand out feature when iOS 16 launched, and I finally got around to setting it up! It's a powerful feature and the video above walks through the feature step-by-step.
If you've ever found yourself needing to download a YouTube video or any video on the web, the tutorial above is for you. Learn how to grab the raw video file from almost anywhere on the internet using Downie and Transloader on your iPhone.
And just in time for the holiday season, I shared some of my favorite MagSafe accessories including iPhone cases, chargers, grips, and car mounts!
